Global Functions

In Max, each skill allows users to add functions that can be utilized by the underlying nodes within the skill. This provides a flexible way to share common logic or helper classes across multiple nodes.

There are two levels of global functions:

• Skill Functions: These functions can be accessed by any node within the same skill.
• Assistant Functions: These functions are accessible by any skill within the same assistant.

Users can access the global functions by using the Skill Toolbar and selecting the f(x) icon. This makes it easy to manage shared functionality across nodes and skills.
