Connections

Connections in Max serve as the link between Max and external data sources, allowing users to interact with their data in real-time. These connections enable the assistant to query, analyze, and retrieve data from various supported platforms, such as databases and file-based sources. Once a connection is established, users can build datasets on top of it, which Max uses to interpret and respond to natural language queries.

Connections are essential for integrating external data into Max, ensuring users have access to up-to-date information from systems like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and others. They also support file uploads, such as CSV or Parquet, enabling flexible ways to interact with data.
